I think I would take a destroyed intake over a blown engine and that would have happened if he had direct port injection. Although I agree direct port is better, in this case, an upstream nozzle probably saved his engine.

Feb 21, 2012 - @ryanjofre Yeah...it is lol. But at the time, no one had really done a nitrous kit on a 2.2L Cobalt. For a long time, the 14.6 was the "record" for base model Cobalts. All in all, had fun and still till this day was never bothered by what happened. Like they say, that's racing...and stuff happens. Gotta pay to play!

Feb 21, 2012 - Honestly I'm not a fon of the little motor cars(hondas,acuras,neons etc)but have to give you props.I've seen some guy's at the track running your time with bone stock 4.6L mustangs so that's not too shabby for a motor that's less than half.Really for bad for your ride though man especially since that's probably your daily ride.
